MAPerformance downpipe loose again..

Anyone else have a fitment issue with their MAP catted DP where you can only get one of the hanger bracket bolts in? I was only able to get the one circled in red (passenger side) to mount to the car. When trying to get the driver's side bolt in it felt like I had to pull down way too hard (rotate the bracket counter-clockwise). I tried with the turbo v-band loose and tight and it didn't seem to make a difference. I have the newer version of their DP without the engine block bracket.

Can't tell if I screwed something up with the install or not.

Work your way back to front.

Nope, never had that issue when I had the MAP pipe.

Just wanted to say that working back to front I was able to get both bracket bolts tightened down and everything secure. Not a fitment issue with the downpipe, just poor install on my part. It was a lot easier with a second set of hands. After tightening up the two bracket bolts I had my wife go under the car and push up on the downpipe right where the cat is. Then I could line it up and install the v band.
