Have you tried connecting the led strip to pin 3 / T32, the handle led to pin 8 / T32 and the negative to pin 5 / T32?

I have the LED strip, and handle connected to pin 1 and the ground connected to ground brown wire( I believe pin 8) all light up and I am just waiting on the correct connector to button it all up. Does your way allow for MIB control?
