I've been having some difficulty deciding what to do. My current options are:

1) Keep the mkvi GTI that I have now and buy a mkiv GTI as a daily (I have a 50 mile commute one way).
2) Trade in my mkvi for a new Audi TT. The automatic transmission would be helpful in traffic.
3) Trade in my mkvi GTI for a new 2013 Golf R.

I'm having the hardest time deciding :(

after gti I'm thinking
- 2013-after imprezza wrx or sit sedan
- bmw 135i
- maybe an alfa romeo (usa is going to sell them in 2014)
- audi s4
- or either mk7 or mk8 gti or golf r
....i do plan on getting a future golf tdi just to use for commute errands etc
...may think of a few more

WRX sedan, maybe STI if I am making the big bucks. Waiting to see the new model and then depending on how it get the previous gen used or a new one.

Depends on what is available at the time. Probably something German. Definitely something easily tuned.

My eyes are on these:
335i coupe or sedan
135i
S4
A4
MK7 GTI/R

A4 only if budget doesn't allow for a nice used B8 S4. I would buy a new A4 in that scenario. 335i and 135i would be low mileage CPO.

New: Mk7 GTI, GTD, or R. Maybe a S4 Avant or V60 R (if Volvo decide to bring back a performance non-XC wagon to the States) if I have my own family someday.

Used: A project Mk1 or Mk2 GTI, and Boxster.

Surely though, my next car will have to be sporty, compact to mid-sized, have a hatch and four-doors if it'll be the only car in my garage.
