How hard is it to do this

Found someone who will wrap my roof but they want antenna removed. I was hoping he could work around it

Is there a DIY?....video maybe somewhere

you need to remove the headliner and then you can remove the nuts.

It's tape with wire embedded in it. You outline what will need cut and wrap over it (gotta leave the end accessible) and pull it off cutting the wrap with the wire as you pull. In the case of your antenna you'd leave an end aimed towards the center so you could cut a small slit to be able to grab the tape

Thanks guys

I will do more research

I really would prefer not to mess with headliner if I don't have to

And I also have another guy willing to spray it black for around the same price as getting it wrapped

So I may go that route

Just curious what they're charging? When I was doing it on the side I think I charged $100-150 for a roof.

Do you place wire tape on the edge of the paint next to antenna or put the tape on the bottom edge of the antenna? Just wondering how tight to the antenna the tape must cut. Thinking of doing my own.
I was going to do a test piece.

Line the wire up with where you want it cut. In the past I've always done it with a knife but the knifeless tape is the new safer way to do it
