I went to college 3 hours away (Dahlonega, GA) and ran it many times in a 1977 Chevy Bel-Air. A few years ago I ran it in a 2008 STI. But, never in my R.

If you are in the area, the Richard Russell Scenic Highway is almost as much fun, but with less traffic. It starts near Hellen GA.

I've only run it once, but really look forward to taking my GTI. A friend of mine also goes there a couple times of year and The Reptile Run. A few roads in the area have retile names so he strings them together over a few days.

My parents live about 2 hours from there, I'm going to make a side trip this spring when I go visit. Been wanting to go for years

One of mine is pre-OBD and it resents sharing space with the rolling computer the GTI is.
