Oh, I would so test drive some cars, just to scare the crap out of the sales person.

Our SCCA region helped a local Lotus dealer put on a rudimentary Autocross for his customers in one of the back lots. Here's the layout I put togeather. It's super simple, and uses waaaay more cones than we would throw down for a real course. Sadly, most Lotus owners have no idea how to really drive their cars.

This is one dealership where if the car had more than 5 miles on it, I'd be worried.

Here in Austin, Mazda dealership is a sponsor of Harris Hill Raceway. So you get a free trackday with any car purchase. At least when i got mine a few years ago. Don't see it on their site now. Wasn't about to take the CX9 though.
