not being a dick here.... but anyone buying boats right now with the storm coming in?

We got a deposit for a used one on friday. New boats arrive already sold and those people have waited too long to let a storm stop them. It'll delay some deliveries until the following week, but that's no big deal. They'd rather have their undelivered brand new boat on our lot for the storm anyway. You can't get insurance on a boat when a hurricane is coming in and if they've financed we can't legally give them the boat until they have insurance.

In normal times it would just kinda slow things down for a little bit, but it doesn't take long for business to go back to normal.

That place has been crazy the last couple days. I went there today and yesterday. Yesterday they were so busy they had managers and underaged kids pushing carts. They had this girl that didn't look like she could have been older than 14-15 years old bringing in carts. It seemed like it was her first day and she had just started her shift. She was pushing 3 carts in from the parking lot while a manager walked in front of her and told her where to go. This girl was fuckin struggling. With the way the manager was telling her to do things it had to be the first load of carts she brought in and she was already worn out. She couldn't even turn the carts, that was not a thing that was going to happen. Poor girl was not gonna last long. The manager didn't seem to care at all.
