Android Auto split screen question

I've searched and came up empty. Several solutions posted online no longer work - I'm guessing due to Google updates that removed them.

Since the split screen update, I get an annoying "route suggestion" tile on the top right of my AA display. Yes, you can swipe left or right to remove them, but I'm looking for a permanent way of doing this. Any ideas?

Apologies for the pic. I had to pilfer one online as the phone cable in my car isn't long enough to allow me to take a picture of the display screen while the phone is plugged in.

Swipe it away or wait for it to eventually go away. Doesn't take too long.

Not sure for OP but after swiping or moving it away its been "permanent" for me unless I uninstall/reinstall the app.

Which also BTW if you ever get any issues out of nowhere with android auto, first try rebooting your phone and rebooting the headunit and if you still have issues, uninstall and reinstall android auto and it usually fixes them.
