Try this. Find a good working mk7 without oil pressure issues. Pull it's oil filter housing and the rod inside. Leave the rod alone. Install the housing on one of the cars, clear codes. See if that fixes it.

I wonder if the oil filter housing adapter was changed without changing to the revised oil filter housing itself. I thought I read a similar thread somewhere with a similar problem and that was the problem.

I believe it requires a revised housing and plunger....you can mix/max old and new
