Mr.2 spyder looks kinda shite, but with some mods, it can handle really well. Frankenstein Motorworks and Ben Lin from Gears and Gasoline track theirs, and they look zippy a f.
3rd gen mr2 is lame.
any boxster is better than that one.
It's also a great candidate for a swap (If it were me, I'd go with a K20/K24).
On the other hand, a boxster would be cool. Is a 986 that much cheaper than a 987?

That's the entire problem with it. I never said it can't be made fast, I said it's lame.
And it is. Nobody looks at a MR-S next to a SW20 and thinks "yea I'll have the weird lumpy one"
My advice to people is don't dump money into a project car that isn't the car you really want to begin with.
