Got the refund back today, they still stuck by what they said and that if the ECU hasn’t been touched it would read 0/0/0/0 and the date of 12/13 was completely random. I’m going to call them tomorrow and see what is going on because they’ve done me over here. No error codes though and readings look okay so it does seem there’s no fault with the car, just have no idea what’s going on. Are DPF cleaning additives any good? Do you have any you’d reccomend?

I literally only bought the car 3 weeks ago mate. Attached is the DPF analysis report, all looks ok on this front according to the specialist, but as you’ve said it seems they don’t know what they’re talking about

Yeah the car was registered in Jan 2014 so would make sense. Ffs what does this all mean then, I have no idea whats causing these regens and it’s starting to really stress me out

Yes I have a mk7. So are you saying this isn’t to do with the software update?

What year is your GTD mate? And does it regen as often as mine? I’ll find out what software it has now and let you know

I’ve taken the car to a VAG specialist and they confirmed the regeneration is happening so often due to the software update that VW installed on these engines a few years back in the form of a recall. If I had the old software the car would not be regenerating as much. I think because I do short...
