Rear Tires Rubbing - Corrective Options

Only the inner lip can be clearanced, not the outer lip, to remain STH legal, if that matters to the OP.

Set it to -2, it seems like you know what you can do as you tried both extremes.

Rear Tires Rubbing - Corrective Options

Sliding the tank over plus I used a plastic plumber strap to hold the filler neck to the body.

Rear Tires Rubbing - Corrective Options

How will camber arms help? Are you running the minimum camber already? More negative camber will not help this problem.

Rear Tires Rubbing - Corrective Options

DerHase's 2019 GTI Rabbit Edition: HPDE shenanigans

Overall observations from my many rear spring changes (OEM through 1000 in/lbs) Rear spring changes made very little difference on rear rotation. The only thing that for sure affected rear rotation was rear toe-out.

That's what I have on the GTI right now, Koni FSD all around, OEM front springs, and I think 375 rear springs. Ride quality is fantastic!
