How is the light output and color compared to the LEDs that came with the BMP headlights?

@mrmatto can probably attest, the high beams are ridiculously bright. Like, overly bright to ensure if you wanted to blind someone in front of you, these will do that job in spades.

From what I could tell, i am not sure 100% as I only see the large cooling fan with one set of wires coming from the board between the fan and bulb itself. But I didn't try to remove the bulb when I cleaned up the wiring. I do have 2 module boxes on the bottom of the headlights, but don't see...

The low beams are shuttered to give the cutoff. Once you go into high, you can hear the shutter lift up and out of the way if you are next to the headlight. The dedicated high beams are brighter than the unshuttered lows when you turn on the highs, but the unshuttered lows give more expanded...

I would say for your D7100, the 35mm f1.8 DX lens. Pretty cheap, but a nice quality lens/glass that works great all around. Good way to start into prime lens. And because you have a crop sensor, that lens is equivalent to a 50mm on a full frame.
