BMP Tuning Illuminator Series™ Dynamic LED Headlights MK7.5 Review

Gotcha. Glad that solved your issues with the stock bulbs. And sucks that you had 2 of basically the same issues from them. I'm hoping my version of headlights will have slightly better luck because it does seem like the ones I got are a slightly different design than yours. BUT, I'll keep an...

BMP Illuminator Headlights Mk7 style review - 2023 edition

@mrmatto can probably attest, the high beams are ridiculously bright. Like, overly bright to ensure if you wanted to blind someone in front of you, these will do that job in spades.

BMP Illuminator Headlights Mk7 style review - 2023 edition

From what I could tell, i am not sure 100% as I only see the large cooling fan with one set of wires coming from the board between the fan and bulb itself. But I didn't try to remove the bulb when I cleaned up the wiring. I do have 2 module boxes on the bottom of the headlights, but don't see...

BMP Illuminator Headlights Mk7 style review - 2023 edition

The low beams are shuttered to give the cutoff. Once you go into high, you can hear the shutter lift up and out of the way if you are next to the headlight. The dedicated high beams are brighter than the unshuttered lows when you turn on the highs, but the unshuttered lows give more expanded...

BMP Illuminator Headlights Mk7 style review - 2023 edition

So..... I know there was a write up done a bit ago (almost a year ago in fact) about these headlights (which was super helpful and led me to pick these headlights up). But, I also saw they did an update on them, as well as my car is a Mk7 and not a Mk7.5. So, figured I'd give my thoughts on the...

I would say for your D7100, the 35mm f1.8 DX lens. Pretty cheap, but a nice quality lens/glass that works great all around. Good way to start into prime lens. And because you have a crop sensor, that lens is equivalent to a 50mm on a full frame.

Got mine for $800+taxes. Retails for $900. I found a couple on eBay for a tad bit less, but they were around the same price as a new one. I know, not a cheap lens, but definitely worth the price so far that I have used it. I looked at the Rokinon, but the autofocus come in handy more often than...

Yup. Here is a better example at full f1.4: Straight from the camera, no editing. Just converted from RAW to JPEG and size reduced to attach for this forum.

I like the new watermark man! Definitely fun to say and very clean looking! Decided to break down and invest in the lens... If you have a full frame whether Nikon or Canon (or even Sony), this lens is definitely worth it. Super super tack sharp, even at f1.4! And wide enough to use as an...
