Lamin-x sells precut tail light kits. The Mk7 tails are a bit of a pain b/c of the sharp angles. I tinted mine from a roll 3x and still ended up pulling too tight.

It’s not a massive pain to realign as long as the car is level. Don’t be surprised by the gap you need to fill by lifting the engine to get it all lined up.
