Yeah, even when warmed up, it's definitely more pronounced when I drive through a tunnel or anything enclosed at lower speeds in that lower RPM range. This is my 4th GTI, never have had any issues like this in the past, it's just strange.

Sorry, I've been really backed up. I haven't made it to the dealership yet, they didn't have any times available that weekend. Hoping to go soon.

I'm thinking I'll make an appointment at the dealership for Saturday, I'll let you know if they can find a solution.

Hey everyone, '19 GTI SE 6MT here with just over 13k miles. For a while now, I've been hearing a metallic rattling sound coming from underneath the car. It's much more prominent when at cold start RPMs, and I also faintly hear it through the wind noise when driving with the windows down...

I just moved from CT, so the initial quote I got was from XLR8 in Branford. I'm in Wilbraham now but work in Hadley so Northampton would be easy to get to. Thanks for the tip, I'll get in touch with them.
