Last time I had a GTI with non-PP, so I had gotten the 345mm ones

When you do decide to jump in, you should definitely do something difficult and unnecessary... I'm thinking switch to MK6R steel knuckles, brembo 18z 6 pots, and you'll need Mercedes rotors that won't quite be centered but it'll be okay because you'll take a millimeter or two off of the pad guide pins with your dremel and a carbide bit.

honestly the 370mm is bling compensating for poor brake cooling on the RS.
if you compare to other cars with similar layouts and power/weight, e.g. STI/Evo, they're running identical calipers and 340-350mm rotors.

And we are in a thread that’s only about bling… our brakes don’t need the cooling ability of the 310mm let alone “bbk” 345s
