After almost 8 years and almost 170,000 km (over 100,000 miles), My baby finally got some new shoes!
O.Z. Racing Formula HLT 8x17 ET50. They replaced the OEM Salvador 7x17 ET48 rims, gaining an inch of width and losing 1.5kg /3.3 lbs per wheel (8.6kg instead of 10.1kg). They are currently sporting Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 tires in the original 225/45R17 size. The 8" width might support a 235 tire, while the 225s were better suited to the original 7" wheels. We'll see how I choose when the Goodyears need replacing.
The Brembo rotors and pads are also new. They are noisier on partial application than the originals ever were, but the hub barrels are painted, so they don't rust and look ugly like the untreated OEM parts do.
